News Lou Diamond Phillips to Star in Casa Mañana's A Few Good Men; Summer Season Announced Lou Diamond Phillips will star in Aaron Sorkin's play A Few Good Men from June 5-10 at the Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth, TX.

Casa Mañana also announced its 2007 Summer Season at the Bass Performance Hall, also in Fort Worth. The lineup includes the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Cinderella from July 10-15; The Wizard Of Oz from Aug. 14-19; the tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee from Sept. 4-9; and acrobats, aerialists and contortionists in the national tour of Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy from Oct. 16-21.

Other events from Casa Mañana include a July 24-29 run from the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tour and a May 1-6 run of the All Shook Up tour, both at the Bass Performance Hall.

Phillips received a Tony nomination for his role in the 1996 Broadway revival of The King and I. He is best known for such movies as "La Bamba," "Young Guns," "Courage Under Fire" and "Stand and Deliver."

A Few Good Men ran on Broadway for 15 previews and 497 performances from 1989-91 at the Music Box Theatre. The Casa Mañana website describes the play as such: "Two Marines are charged in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. Their Navy appointed lawyer, a callow young man more interested in playing games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a cover up of what really happened. Prodded by the members of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial."

Season Tickets for the 2007 Summer Season go on sale to the general public April 30. For more information, call (817) 332-2272 or visit www.casamanana.org.
