News Love, Shakespeare to Be Presented May 14; Casting Announced The trials and tribulations of relationships are explored in Love, Shakespeare, a new kid-friendly production from The Acting Company.

The one-hour musical exploration, which features "a bit of rock, a bit of stomp and a whole lot of joy," utilizes scenes from four Shakespeare classics: Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing. Following a successful national tour, Love, Shakespeare will be presented for one performance only May 14 at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre. Show time is 2 PM; a talkback with the cast will follow the performance.

The cast, comprising members of the Acting Company, features Christina Apathy (Kate/Celia/Beatrice), Lisa McCormick (Juliet/Rosalind), Justin Adams (Petruchio), Michael Allen (Orlando), Jacob Ming-Trent (Narrator/Friar/Nurse/Don Pedro), Matt Sullivan (Benedick), JD Goldblatt (Romeo) and Henry Vick (Claudio).
