Lupita Nyong'o, who has major Broadway and Hollywood openings in the next few weeks, talked about her tough roles in a Dec. 2 appearance on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."

Nyong'o, who earned an Oscar in the 2013 film "12 Years a Slave," told host Trevor Noah what it was like acting with CGI in the forthcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (opening Dec. 18) and what it has been like playing a Liberian woman coping with war in the Off-Broadway drama Eclipsed, which is transferring to Broadway starting Feb. 23, 2016.
