News Lynn Redgrave and Avery Brooks Continue The Exonerated National Tour Lynn Redgrave and Avery Brooks continue the national tour of The Exonerated at Philadelphia’s Merriam Theatre through Nov. 2. The staging will also feature Jill Clayburgh, Gerald McRaney and Robert Carradine at upcoming venues.

The Culture Project, Inc., Dede Harris, Morton Swinsky, Bob Balaban, Allan Buchman, Patrick Blake, David Elliott, Jane Bergere, Ruth Hendel, Cheryl Wiesenfeld and Clear Channel Entertainment present the tour of the Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen play still running Off-Broadway at the 45 Bleecker Street Theatre. Launching anew Oct. 7 at Ft. Lauderdale's Broward Center with Lynn Redgrave and Montel Williams, the tour will also play at New Orleans' Saenger Theatre (Nov. 4-9), Baltimore’s Morris Mechanic Theatre (Nov. 11-23) San Francisco's Curran Theatre (Nov. 25-Dec. 21), Seattle’s The Moore(Jan. 13-18, 2004), New Haven's Shubert Theatre (Jan. 20-25, 2004), Tempe's Gammage Auditorium (Jan. 27-Feb. 1, 2004), Little Rock/Memphis (Feb. 3-8, 2004), Ft. Worth's Casa Mañana Performing Arts Center (Feb. 17-22, 2004), Detroit's Fisher Theatre (Feb. 24-March 14, 2004), Atlanta's Ferst Center and Florida's Naples Philharmonic (March 23-28, 2004), Orlando's Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre (March 30-April 4, 2004) and Minneapolis' State Theatre (April 6-11, 2004).

Drawn from interviews of forty former death row inmates by playwrights Blank and Jensen, The Exonerated explores the variety of experiences and feelings of those who spent from 2 to 22 years imprisoned only to be later by found innocent and release. Bob Balaban (the actor seen in "A Mighty Wind") directs.
