Mason's evening, part of the "Broadway Downtown" series, will feature tunes by her late musical director Brian Lasser. Show time is 7 PM. In a statement, Mason said, "This show, 'Better Days,' is my chance to visit some old friends: the songs of Brian Lasser. As you may know, Brian was my musical director and friend for 16 years. He wrote songs that spoke from his heart . . . and always seemed to be speaking for mine! I'll be at the microphone. And, of course, the fantastic Christopher Denny will be at the piano. So please come share some memories, and most importantly, the songs of Brian Lasser."
