At the concert, Patinkin will perform his interpretations of popular standards from songwriters such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Harry Chapin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter. Patinkin will be accompanied by Paul Ford, the original pianist for the Broadway productions of Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Passion, Assassins and the revivals of Pacific Overtures and Assassins.
Patinkin won the Tony Award in 1980 for his performance in Evita. He has also been seen on Broadway in The Wild Party, Sunday in the Park with George, Falsettos and The Secret Garden, among others. He won an Emmy Award in 1995 for his work in the drama series "Chicago Hope."
