Playwright Patrick Marber and actors Lea DeLaria and Julie Halston will be the guests on the April 16 edition of "Theater Talk," the New York based theater talk show hosted by Susan Haskins and the New York Post's Michael Riedel.

Marber both wrote and directed the current Broadway production of Closer, a searing examination of the Rules of Attraction, London style, starring Natasha Richardson and Rupert Graves. Incredibly, Marber describes his rather amoral characters as "Four nice people who behave badly, rather than four horrible people who behave badly... I love my characters, and would be very happy to spend time with all of them."

DeLaria and Halston are currently starring in Paul Rudnick's comedy The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. The play is set to close at the Minetta Lane Theatre on May 2. DeLaria will also posit her theories on why the musical revival of On the Town closed so quickly.

This episode of "Theater Talk" will air Friday, April 16, at midnight on Thirteen/WNET and re-air Saturday, April 24, at 9:30 PM as part of Thirteen MetroArts on MSG Metro Learning cable.
