News Marc Anthony to Guest on "Hawthorne" Latin pop star and stage alum Marc Anthony will make a guest appearance on the TNT series "Hawthorne," according to the Associated Press.

Anthony will play a cop investigating a kidnapping in Richmond, where the series is set. He will fall for Christina (Fela! producer Jada Pinkett Smith), a chief nurse in a local hospital.

Anthony appeared on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and on screen in "El cantate" (opposite wife Jennifer Lopez), "Man on Fire" and "Bringing Out the Dead." His most recent album, "Iconos," adds to a music collection that includes "Todo A Su Tiempo," "Libre" and "Marc Anthony," among other albums.
