News Martha Plimpton to Be Honored By Steppenwolf at Women in the Arts Fundraiser Tony and Emmy Award nominee and Steppenwolf Theatre Company ensemble member Martha Plimpton will be honored by the acclaimed Chicago theatre troupe March 15, 2011, at noon as part of the Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraiser at The W Chicago – City Center.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Steppenwolf's Professional Leadership Program, which offers training opportunities to young professionals in theatre administration, production and technology.

At the event, Plimpton ("Raising Hope," Pal Joey, Top Girls, The Coast of Utopia) will discuss her career in an "Inside the Actors Studio"-style interview with Steppenwolf artistic director Martha Lavey.
