Karen Mason, the John Pizzarelli Trio, Sean McDermott and Ann Magnuson are on the June roster of Joe's Pub, the bar and night spot enclosed within the Public Theater in New York.
Magnuson, known for her numerous one-person shows, offers Ann's Adventures in Hollywoodland, in which she spins yarns of the city she loves and hates. Her back-up band features Kristian Hoffman, Jonathan Lee, Willie Bon Giovanni and Joe Berardi, as well as downtown director and performer John Jahnke as "the dancer." Performances are June 18-21.
Singers visiting the pub in June include cabaret mainstay Karen Mason, whose most recent CD is "Better Days," June 13 & 14; singer guitarist John Pizzarelli (Dream) and his trio, June 20; and cabaret and Broadway talent Sean McDermott, June 28.
