Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, and Kate Rockwell, who collectively make up “the Plastics” in Broadway’s Mean Girls, will co-host the 2018 Drama League Awards May 18 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.

Louderman and Park earned Tony and Drama League nominations for their performances as Regina George and Gretchen Wieners, respectively, with Rockwell taking on the role of Karen Smith. (Park was also recognized by the Drama League for her performance in Off-Broadway’s KPOP). Park and Rockwell were additionally nominated for Drama Desk Awards.

The awards honor Broadway and Off-Broadway productions and performances, with the ceremony culminating in the presentation of the Distinguished Performance Award, which goes to one artist a year and can only be won once in an artist’s lifetime. This year, the League recognized 55 actors as nominees for the distinction.
As previously announced, the 84th annual ceremony will also honor Idina Menzel with the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award, Mean Girls director Casey Nicholaw with the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, and the National Endowment for the Arts with the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
