PlayBlog Mireille Enos to Star in Series for AMC, Formerly Titled "The Killing" Tony Award nominee Mirielle Enos will star in a crime drama recently picked up by AMC. The series, which was called "The Killing" in its pilot, will be renamed, according to deadline.com.


Enos will play Sarah, the lead homicide detective investigating the murder of a young girl in Seattle. The series will also star Billy Campbell, Michele Forbes, Joe Kinaman and Brent Sexton.

Enos earned a Tony Award nomination for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. She recently appeared opposite Annette Bening in The Female of the Species at Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.

The series, produced by Fox Television and based on the Danish television series “Forbrydelsen,” will air in 2011 on AMC.
