The Barn Theatre, in Augusta, Michigan, continues its summer season with a production of A Chorus Line, running Aug. 3-15. Scott Burkell (Titanic) and Charlie Misovye co-direct with Misovye providing the choreography.
Originally conceived, directed and choreographed in 1975 by the late Broadway director-choreographer Michael Bennett, A Chorus Line is the second longest running musical in Broadway history with 6,137 performances. The Marvin Hamlisch-Edward Kleban score features the hits "One (Singular Sensation)" and "What I Did For Love."
Starring in Chorus Line are Jacquelyn Ritz (Shelia), Laura Dysarczyk (Cassie), Jennifer Kapitan (Maggie), Lauren Snowday (Kristine), Erica Baker (Val), Elizabeth Earnheart (Diana), Courtney Ell (Connie), Jenna Lee (Judy), Amy Miller (Bebe), John C. Brown (Bobby), Eric Parker (Al), Erick Sisco (Greg), Dan Black (Don), Randy Aaron (Makr), Thomas R. Mienk (Paul), Leonard Sullivan (Richie), Steven Wenslawski (Mike), Charlie Misovye (Larry) and Robin Haynes (Zack).
The design team includes Fred Gillette (set), Elaine Kauffman (costumes), Brian Collins (lighting) and Aaron Morse (sound). Daniel Jenkins is the musical director.
