Mrs. Santa Claus," The Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie starring Angela Lansbury, will be in homes once again when it is released on video Oct. 21. The heart-warming holiday musical -- with score by Jerry Herman -- concerns Mrs. Santa Claus' misadventures during a trip to New York City sans Santa. Co-starring with Lansbury are theatrical mainstays Michael Jeter, Terrence Mann, and Charles Durning.
Directed by Terry Hughes, with choreography by Rob Marshall and costumes by Bob Mackie, the TV movie originally aired on CBS-TV in Dec. 96 to stellar ratings.
"Mrs. Santa Claus" will be released on video by Hallmark Home Entertainment with a suggested retail price of $14.98. The soundtrack is available on RCA Victor 09026-68665-2.
