News   Mullally, Danner, Shalhoub, Piven, Alda Win Emmy Awards A host of stage veterans, including Megan Mullally and Blythe Danner, claimed trophies at the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which were announced Aug. 27 on NBC.

Tony Shalhoub (Conversations With My Father) won for Lead Actor in a Comedy for his work in "Monk." Glengarry Glen Ross actor Alan Alda won the Supporting Actor in a Drama category for his performance on "The West Wing." In the Supporting Actress in a Comedy category, Megan Mullally (How To Succeed in Business...) prevailed for her final season in "Will & Grace."

Blythe Danner (Follies) won for "Huff" in the Supporting Actress in a Drama category and Jeremy Piven (Fat Pig) took home an Emmy for his work in "Entourage."
