Stephanie Bast, who appeared in the recent Broadway revival of the musical Nine, will join Burl Moseley, Diane Landers and Jason Fuchs in the new P.S 122 staging of Kyle Jarrow's new rock musical Gorilla Man.

Jarrow won an Obie Award for writing the eccentric Off-Broadway hit A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant. The show billed itself as a "bizarre new holiday classic — part avant-garde performance art, part children’s theatre — based on the actual principles of Scientology and the seriously unbelievable life story of founder L. Ron Hubbard." He preceded that up with the NYC Fringe presentation of President Harding Is a Rock Star. Habib Azar will direct the new piece, about a boy who wakes up one morning to find he has become a monster and that his mother has a horrible secret she's been hiding from him for 14 years. Jarrow sites as influences filmmaker Tod Browning ("Freaks"), the novel "Tom Sawyer," and the glam rock band T. Rex.

Bast served as an understudy to Sara Gettelfinger, among others, in the David Leveaux revival of Nine. She also appeared in The Scarlet Pimpernel and King David.

Tickets are $15. Call (212) 477-5288.
