Presented as part of the Prospect Theater Company's Dark Nights series, Onward will run April 2-5. Diana Glazer will direct a cast that includes David Andrew Anderson, Whit Baldwin, Darren Biggart and Rebecca Ryan. Penned by J. Oconer Navarro (music) and Katie Kring (lyrics), Onward is described as a "a magical exploration of love and mortality, where rules are challenged, mysteries unraveled, and lives are forever transformed." The musical explores the tales of Loch Ness, the Bermuda Triangle and Cape Horn.
Upcoming Dark Nights presentations at 59E59 Theaters include Barry Levey's Hoaxocaust on April 18 and 19; and an evening of 10-minute musicals entitled Map Quest on April 25, 26 and 28.
