The play is scheduled to open Off-Broadway this summer, according to press notes. The cast of the reading includes Josh Barrett, David Flaherty, Natalie Knepp and Kathy Searle. Ken Davenport (Altar Boyz, Awesome 80s Prom) is the creator and producer.
The experiences were submitted online at MyFirstTime.com, a website created by Peter Foldy and Craig Paddock.
According to press notes, the work "takes a close look at this 'brief' moment in all of our lives by giving voices to the anonymous internet submissions from all around the globe. The stories featured in My First Time are sweet, tragic, absurd, funny, heterosexual, homosexual, awkward, shy, sexy and everything in between."
