National Tour News National Tour of Broadway’s Falsettos Announces Full Tour Dates and Cities The Tony-nominated revival, directed by writer James Lapine, will play Los Angeles, Dallas, and more.

Lincoln Center Theater's revival of Falsettos, which played Broadway in fall 2016 and was subsequently nominated for five Tony Awards, has announced its complete touring schedule.

James Lapine and William Finn's musical will play full-week and multi-week engagements in the 2018–2019 touring season, including San Francisco's Golden Gate Theater (March 19–April 14, 2019) and stops in Dallas, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and St. Paul, Minnesota. As previously announced, the production will also play Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles April 16–May 19.

June 11–23 in Washington, D.C., at The Kennedy Center
June 25–30 in Charlotte, North Carolina at Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts

The tour, produced by Jujamcyn Theaters and NETworks Presentations, is set to announce additional engagements.

The production, directed by Lapine, features choreography by Spencer Liff, sets by David Rockwell, costumes by Jennifer Caprio, lighting by Jeff Croiter, sound by Dan Moses Schreier, and casting by Eric Woodall of Tara Rubin Casting. The musical also features Michael Starobin’s original orchestrations.

The Broadway cast featured two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle as Marvin, Tony nominees Stephanie J. Block, Andrew Rannells, and Brandon Uranowitz as Trina, Whizzer, and Mendel, Tracie Thoms as Dr. Charlotte, Betsy Wolfe as Cordelia, and Anthony Rosenthal as Jason. Casting has not been announced for the national tour.

Falsettos revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door: a Kosher caterer and doctor.
