News Never Neverland: The Music of Scott Alan to Play London's Duchess Theatre in September Composer and lyricist Scott Alan — who produces the monthly cabaret series, Monday Nights, New Voices — will make his London concert debut this fall.

The Sept. 21 concert, Never Neverland: The Music of Scott Alan, will be held at the Duchess Theatre and will benefit the charities Ovarian Cancer Action and NCH.

Produced by Laura Costello and Amy Nicholson, the evening will feature a host of West End theatre actors, including Marguerite's Annalene Beechey, Dirty Dancing's Simon Greiff, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat's Jenna Lee-James, We Will Rock You's Amanda Coutts, Les Misérables' Cassie Compton and Hairspray's Rachael Wooding.

Composer Alan will accompany the singers on piano, who will perform songs from Alan's debut CD, "Dreaming Wide Awake."

Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which was produced in Los Angeles. He also produces the Monday Nights, New Voices series at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, and his newest musical, Piece, was featured at the 2006 NAMT festival and the 2007 Seattle Village Theatre Festival.
