CBS All Access, CBS’ subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, announced new premiere dates for its new series Star Trek: Discovery and the all-new edition of The Good Wife, which will star Tony Award winner Christine Baranski.
The new edition of The Good Wife will debut in February 2017; the series will premiere with a special broadcast on CBS and then move exclusively to CBS All Access.
The new series picks up one year after the events of the final episode of The Good Wife. The cast is headed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Christine Baranski, who will reprise her role as Diane Lockhart, joined by Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, along with the introduction of new characters as the story evolves.
Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, will return as the showrunners and executive producers of the spinoff. Phil Alden Robinson co-wrote and will executive produce the premiere episode along with the Kings. Ridley Scott, David Zucker, Liz Glotzer and Brooke Kennedy will also serve as executive producers. The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions.
Star Trek: Discovery will launch in May 2017.

Following its May 2017 premiere on CBS, all episodes will be available in the U.S. exclusively on CBS All Access. Each episode of the series will be available globally within 24 hours of its U.S. premiere, presented on Netflix in 188 countries and through Bell Media platforms in Canada.
