The season will launch this fall with a revival of Rabe's Sticks and Bones, directed by Scott Elliott. Hunter ("The Piano") and Pullman (The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?) will star. Performances begin in October at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre.

The play is billed as "a savage and savagely comic portrait of an average American family pulled apart by the return of a son from the Vietnam War. Ozzie (Bill Pullman) and his wife Harriet (Holly Hunter) are overjoyed to see their eldest son David again, but the furies that haunt David begin to overwhelm them and their happy-go-lucky younger son Ricky, forcing Ozzie to make a stand for the values he can’t bear to let go."

Wiest ("Bullets Over Broadway," The Seagull) and Pinkins (Caroline, or Change) will co-star in Johnson's new play Rasheeda Speaking, which will begin performances in January 2015 under the direction of Tony Award winner Cynthia Nixon (Wit) at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre.

According to the New Group, "Despite their differences, Ileen (Dianne Wiest) and Jaclyn (Tonya Pinkins) have developed a real bond in the six months they’ve worked together at the front desk of Dr. Williams’ office. When the doctor decides to get rid of Jaclyn, he enlists Ileen to help him find fault with her. Jaclyn, sensing betrayal, turns the tables, unleashing a chilling power struggle in this incisive and crisply funny look at the unspoken tensions buried inside our 'post-racial' America."

Elliott will direct The Spoils, written by and starring Eisenberg, which will begin performances in May at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre. Here's how it's billed: "Nobody likes Ben (Jesse Eisenberg). Ben doesn’t even like Ben. He's been kicked out of grad school, lives off his parents’ money, and bullies everyone in his life, including his roommate, an earnest Nepalese immigrant. When Ben discovers that his grade school crush is marrying a straight-laced banker, he sets out to destroy their relationship and win her back."

The season marks the New Group's first at The Pershing Square Signature Center on 42nd Street. The organization also announced that the theatre will serve as its home for the 2015-16 season as well.
