News New Julie Andrews Book and Song to Benefit BC/EFA Portions of the proceeds from "The Great American Mousical," a new book penned by Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton, will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

To enhance the experience of reading the book, stage and screen star Andrews has recorded a new song entitled "The Show Must Go On!" Portions of the sales from the song, which can be downloaded on-line, will also benefit the charitable organization.

In "The Great American Mousical," according to press notes, a "troupe of theatrical mice live and perform in a miniature world beneath Broadway." Tony Award winner Tony Walton illustrated the children's tome.

In a statement Julie Andrews said, "Broadway Cares is such an exceptional organization. Since the mice in the story are rehearsing for their own benefit performance, 'Broadway Airs,' it seemed appropriate to donate part of our sales proceeds to them."
