News New Mondays Series Continues With Krieger, Gordon, Wildhorn and Finn The second round of New Mondays — the Storefront series that showcases established and up-n-coming composers — begins Oct. 7 at 7 PM with works from Henry Krieger, who wrote the scores for Dreamgirls and Side Show. The second round of New Mondays — the Storefront series that showcases established and up-n-coming composers — begins Oct. 7 at 7 PM with works from Henry Krieger, who wrote the scores for Dreamgirls and Side Show. Other composers offering new tunes that evening include Karen Jacobson, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen.

The series continues through Dec. 2 with several composers offering new works each Monday. Some of the writers may perform their own material, and some will accompany vocalists from the worlds of cabaret and theatre. The complete list of composers follows:

Oct. 7: Karen Jacobson, Henry Krieger, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen
Oct. 14: Pam Tate, Tom Jones and Joseph Thalken, Steve Marzullo
Oct. 21: Tracy Stark, Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, Bobby Belfry
Oct. 28: Julie Reyburn, Carol Hall, Lina Koutrakis
Nov. 4: Gi-hieh Lee, Vadim Feichtner, William Finn, Tammy Samuels, Deborah Abramson
Nov. 11: Francesca Blumenthal, Frank Wildhorn, Michael Isaacs
Nov. 18: Georgia Stitt, Julie Gold, Maria Gentile and Caren Cole, D.C. Anderson
Nov. 25: Bob Ost, Ricky Ian Gordon, John McMahon
Dec. 2: Brian Feinstein and Diana Hansen-Young, Galt MacDermot, Lisa Kirchner

All performances will be held at The Duplex, which is located in New York City at 61 Christopher Street. There is a $12 cover for each evening as a well as a two-drink minimum. For reservations, call (212) 255-5438.
