Tony-winning writers Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey have been working with fellow Tweeters to create the song that was penned for the characters of Gabe and Dr. Madden. There are no plans to incorporate the song into the Broadway production.

Fans selected the characters who would sing, the subject and they assisted in creating lyrics for "Something I Can't See." The entire creative process has been documented on the Next to Normal Twitter feed, with Kitt and Yorkey guiding Tweeters through the songwriting process, including how to create a good "hook," as in "I'm Alive" or "I Miss the Mountains."
As previously reported, the 92YTribeca hosts the evening "On Stage with Next to Normal," that will feature Kitt and Yorkey, director Michael Greif and producer David Stone. Theatre critic Jesse Oxfeld will moderate the 7 PM event.
