News New World Stages Gives Free Ticket for Toy Donation Dec. 19 New World Stages will offer a free ticket to one of the venue’s shows for every new toy donated to Toys for Tots at the theatre on Dec. 19 from 4 PM to 6 PM.

The venue’s shows are Altar Boyz, Evil Dead: The Musical, How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes, Naked Boys Singing! and the upcoming Bill W. and Dr. Bob.

At the theatre during the donation period, cast members from the shows will be on hand to collect the toys. Carolers will perform and Starbucks will provide coffee.

Toys for Tots, run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, collects new, unwrapped toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to needy children.

Altar Boyz is about a Christian boy band. How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes is a romantic musical comedy set in the United Nations. Bill W. and Dr. Bob is a play about two alcoholics after the 1929 stock market crash. Evil Dead: The Musical is an adaptation of the cult horror film. Naked Boys Singing! is exactly what it sounds like.

Some restrictions on tickets may apply. New World Stages is on 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.
