The concerts feature selections from works to be featured in City Opera's 2007-08 season, including Rossini's Barber of Seville, Puccini's La Bohme and Madama Butterfly, Bizet's Carmen and The Pearl Fishers, Barber's Vanessa, Bernstein's Candide, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann, Verdi's Rigoletto, Wright and Forrest's Kismet, Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.
The performers, all on City Opera's roster, include sopranos Inna Dukach and Malia Bendi Merad, mezzo-sopranos Heather Johnson and Jennifer Tiller, tenors Christopher Jackson and Robert Mack, and baritones Michael Chioldi and Marco Nistic‹.
