News North Shore Will Present Save Our Theatre Benefit Feb. 3 A fundraiser to help save the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA, will be presented Feb. 3 at the Danversport Yacht Club.

David Coffee, best known for his role as Scrooge in North Shore's annual production of A Christmas Carol, will host the evening, which begins at 6:30 PM.

Coffee will be joined onstage by stage and screen star George Dvorsky as well as Peter S. Adams, Leigh Barrett, Maureen Brennan, Mary Callanan, Andrew Giordano, Cassandra Marsh, Cheryl McMahon, Robert Saoud and Kathy St. George. The NSMT Orchestra, led by Jay Daly, and NSMT's Youth Performance Academy's Rising Stars will also perform.

Silent and live auctions as well as the chance to purchase North Shore memorabilia will also be part of the fundraiser.

Danversport Yacht Club is located at 161 Elliot Street in Danvers, MA. Tickets are $40 and include dinner and entertainment. Tables of ten can be reserved when booking under a single name. To purchase tickets visit www.nsmt.org or call (978) 232-7200.

* In December NSMT announced that without immediate philanthropic support it would close its doors after 55 years. Faced with the reality of the current economic crisis, 57 employees were recently let go.
