The event features selections from two new musicals: Adam Lives and The Lyrics of Bill Nelson.

Adam Lives features a book, music and lyrics by Rob Baumgartner. Directed by Branden Huldeen, who also served as dramaturg, with musical direction by Rob Baumgartner, the cast includes Alexa Green (Wicked), Victoria Huston-Elem, Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody), John Jeffrey Martin (Kinky Boots), CJ Pawlikoski, Marissa Rosen (Bedbugs), Eric Sumpter (Inner City) and Jessica Vosk (West Side Story, She Loves Me).

Here's how the show is billed: "Dreams can catch you off guard. Adam is a prolific songwriter, but his Philly R&B sound never makes it further than the mix tapes he makes for his #1 fan, his long-time girlfriend Claudia. Adam's songs are about what he loves, but when someone else falls in love with his songs and promises to send them out into the world, he comes face to face with how to live outside of his world at the piano."

The evening also include songs from The Lyrics of Bill Nelson, which features music from Harmony, Kansas. The show includes lyrics by Bill Nelson and additional music by Will Aronson and Bradford Proctor.

With music direction by Jason Sirois, the cast features Andrew Boetcher, Matt Castle (Company), KC Comeaux, Sarah Corey, John Garry (Bunnicula), Frank Galgano (Once Upon A Mattress), Blythe Gruda, Christiana Little, David Perlman (Baby, It's You), Paul Victor, Ben Wexler and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Things to Ruin). Here's how the show is billed: "The Lyrics of Bill Nelson will include 'jaw-dropping, profound and delightful' songs written with composers Will Aronson and Bradford Proctor, and will feature songs from Harmony, Kansas (4 SCENIE Awards, 3 San Diego Theatre Critics Circle nominations) written with composer Anna K. Jacobs. With a lively, soulful score, Harmony, Kansas tells the story of Heath, a gay farmer making his way in a rural community where it pays to blend in. When his city-born partner, Julian, talks him into joining a spirited group of gay guys who meet once a week to sing, Heath discovers a love for making music and a kinship he didn't expect. But his world is turned upside down when the group considers performing in public, threatening everything that matters to him, including the life he's made with the man he loves."

Admission is $15, with a two-drink minimum. Admission for students and BMI members is $10.
