News OB and Stock Actor Richard Krisher is Dead at 61 Richard Krisher, a movie and stage actor who appeared in Off-Broadway's Little Mary Sunshine, died of a heart attack Jan. 23, Variety reported.

Richard Krisher, a movie and stage actor who appeared in Off-Broadway's Little Mary Sunshine, died of a heart attack Jan. 23, Variety reported. The 61-year-old actor appeared in Off-broadway productions and in stock, including a staging of You Can't Take It With You starring Edgar Bergen and Ilka Chase.

Mr. Krisher was Slim in the original Off-Broadway production of Little Mary Sunshine, the 1959 operetta spoof, with Eileen Brennan.

He appeared in such films as "The Boston Strangler," "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre," "Tora Tora Tora" and "Tony Rome."

Mr. Krisher toured in a road company of The Boys in the Band, which had runs in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He also had a career in real estate.

Memorial services will be held March 4 in Palm Springs, Variety reported.
