News Off-Broadway's Closer Than Ever Ends Run Nov. 4 The York Theatre Company's critically acclaimed production of Closer Than Ever, the revue that features the songs of Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire, plays its final performances Off-Broadway Nov. 4 at 2:30 PM and 7 PM.

The production, which began performances June 5, will have played 150 shows at its conclusion.

To celebrate the final evening, previous company members associated with the show, including Jenn Colella, Christiane Noll, Jamie LaVerdiere, James Moye and more, will be on hand.

With direction by Maltby, associate direction and choreography by Kurt Stamm and music direction by Andrew Gerle, the cast currently features George Dvorsky, Anika Larsen, Marya Grandy and Sal Viviano.

The production at The York Theatre at Saint Peter’s is described as "an intimate revue about love, friendship, security, happiness — and holding onto those essentials in a world that pulls us in a hundred directions at once."

The creative team includes James Morgan (set), Nicole Wee (costumes) and Kirk Bookman (lights).  The production stage manager is Bernita Robinson.

Tickets are priced at $67.50 and are available online at yorktheatre.org, by calling (212) 935-5820, or in person at the box office at the York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

(Those with a canceled ticket to a downtown show due to Hurricane Sandy can get a free ticket to the 2:30 PM performance if they bring the unused ticket/confirmation order to the York Theatre Company box office.)
