News Oh, What a Night: Arcelus Joins Broadway's Jersey Boys Jan. 10 Sebastian Arcelus becomes one of Broadway's Jersey Boys in the Tony Award-winning musical at the August Wilson Theatre Jan. 10.

The actor, recently seen as Fiyero in the New York company of Wicked, suceedds original cast member Daniel Reichard in the role of Bob Gaudio. Arcelus joins original cast members Christian Hoff and J. Robert Spencer as well as recent replacement Michael Longoria.

The current Broadway cast also features Peter Gregus and Mark Lotito with Travis Cloer, Kris Coleman, Ken Dow, Heather Ferguson, Steve Gibb, Cory Grant, Eric Gutman, Donnie Kehr, John Leone, Jennifer Naimo, Dominic Nolfi, Erica Piccininni, Sara Schmidt and Eric Schneider. Cory Grant performs in the lead role of Valli at Wednesday and Saturday matinees.

Arcelus has also played on Broadway in Rent and Good Vibrations. Other credits include the national tour of Wicked, The Full Monty, Caligula, Hamlet: A Rock Opera, Aida, Floyd Collins and the world premiere of William Finn's Songs of Innocence and Experience. He can be heard on the recording of Barbara Cook's Carnegie Hall concert "No One is Alone" and is also the voice of Papi on Nickelodeon's "Go, Diego, Go!"

Des McAnuff (The Who's Tommy, Big River) directs the story of American pop group The Four Seasons — the highs, the lows and all in between — which comes to life in the musical Jersey Boys with the help of their hits "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like A Man," "December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)" and more. The show began on Broadway Oct. 4, 2005, and opened at the August Wilson Theatre Nov. 6.

Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. The production garnered four Tony Award wins for stars John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, lighting designer Howell Binkley and for the top prize Best Musical.
