News   Olivia Poulet and Joseph Drake Will Star in Philip Ridley's Shivered at London's Southwark Playhouse

The world premiere of Philip Ridley's Shivered, which will begin performances at London's Southwark Playhouse March 7 prior to an official opening March 13, will star Olivia Poulet and Joseph Drake.

Directed by Russell Bolam, the cast will also include Amanda Daniels, Robbie Jarvis Dean, Andrew Hawley, Simon Lenagan and Joshua Williams. It is produced by Aron Rollin and Caitlin Albery Beavan for Moya Productions.

In the play, a young couple moves into a new home. A soldier is being held hostage. Two boys are searching for monsters. All these things are connected by both family and time, but what story can be told when family and time are broken? Covering over 12 years, it unpicks the story of two families and then re-weaves it into something new.

Poulet was last seen in the West End in Top Girls at Chichester's Minerva Theatre and the Trafalgar Studios. She is best known for playing Tory staffer Emma Messinger in Channel 4's "The Thick of It." Her screen credits include "In the Loop."

Drake was seen onstage in the title role of the Young Vic' s Vernon God Little, as well as in The Lion in Winter (Theatre Royal, Haymarket) and The Deep Blue Sea (Chichester Festival Theatre).
