News Olivier Winner Galloway Joins Cast of Broadway's Mary Poppins British actress Jenny Galloway joined the cast of Broadway's Mary Poppins Sept. 1 in the role of Mrs. Brill. The acclaimed performer originated that role in the London production of the family-friendly musical.

Produced by Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh, Poppins plays the New Amsterdam Theatre. Galloway joined a cast that currently features Scarlett Strallen in the title role, Adam Fiorentino as Bert, Daniel Jenkins as Mr. Banks and Rebecca Luker as Mrs. Banks.

Jenny Galloway is a two-time Olivier Award winner for her performances as Rosie in Mamma Mia! (2000) and Luce in The Boys from Syracuse (1992). She played Madame Thénardier in the London cast of Les Misérables and later reprised the role on Broadway. She starred as the original Mrs. Brill in the world premiere of Mary Poppins in London's West End (2004) and earned an Olivier nomination for her role as Mickey in My One and Only (2003). Earlier this year, Galloway appeared with Dame Judi Dench in the Donmar West End production of Madame De Sade.
