Michael Bush serves as artistic director for the conference that will present public performances Aug. 4-14 in Waterford, CT. Uggams will offer Uptown Downtown, conceived and directed by Bush, Aug. 5; Fuller will join Gillette for the world premiere of Sin Twisters Aug. 6; jazz singer and bassist Nicki Parrot will perform Peggy Lee Big Instruments and Other Weapons of Mass Distraction Aug. 10; and Barrett will present his own solo show Aug. 11.
Also on the bill is a performance by the Cabaret Fellows on Aug. 7 and 12; The O’Neill Follies and Picnic, featuring Ellen Harris, Aja Nisenson, Jay Rogers, and Lois Robbins, on Aug. 8; and Stoned Soul Picnic: The Songs of Laura Nyro on Aug. 13. The Grand Finale Cabaret will take place Aug. 14.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center was founded in 1964 and is based in Waterford, CT. Programs at the Center include the Puppetry Conference, Playwrights Conference, Critics Institute, Music Theater Conference and the National Theater Institute.
