Farewell to Travis Bogard, a leading Eugene O'Neill scholar and author. According to the New York Post, Bogard died April 5 of a stroke. Professor emeritus of dramatic art at the University of California at Berkeley, Bogard developed the school's first Ph.D., program in the subject. He started teaching there in 1948 and retired in 1987.
