Then they grab racks and spread out for maximum coverage. Things can get quite savage!

Every few years Ontario's Stratford Festival holds a giant Warehouse Sale. It's always a fantasy world of period costumes and furnishings, to which high school drama teachers actually flock in teams and line up for hours before the doors open. Then they grab racks and spread out for maximum coverage. Things can get quite savage!

The next one is being held on January 24, from 10 AM to 4 PM and it's a bit different than usual. The focus this time will be on leftovers from the Festival Theatre's renovation and include such items as used doors, hardware, electrical wiring and fixtures, furniture, various building materials and much more. A limited amount of costumes, props and scenery will be available, as well as selected sound and lighting equipment.

So if you're a household or theatrical carpenter, this is your mecca.And theatre lovers have often reported that the prices are great and it's a fun day.
