Downtown's Axis Company inaugurate the opening of their newly renovated theatre (at 1 Sheridan Square) with Massacre, Oct. 28 Nov. 22. Utilizing various media, Massacre tells of a mysterious girl with a strange mental illness. She attempts to write a story involving her family but is unable to organize her characters. Ultimately, she submits to their influence and commits suicide.
Massacre is conceived, written and produced by Axis Company, directed by Randy Sharp with a cast featuring Wren Arthur, Michael Gump, Robert Ierardi, Vivian Jordan, and Sue Ann Molinell.
