Off-Off Broadway's Freestyle Repertory Company begin their spring season March 18-April 25. Lined up for the improvisation group are Theatresports, Spontaneous Broadway, KA-BAAM!!! and Hyperlinks, running in repertory.

Theatresports, the Freestyle's signature show, runs Thursday Sunday, March 18-April 4. Via a set of competitive improv games, the company divides into two teams who make up stories, songs, poems and plays on the audience's suggestions. Selected judges and the audience choose who will be the evening's champion. Christine Turner directs.

Following Theatresports will be Spontaneous Broadway (April 8-25). Freestyle stages a brand new musical every night, taking it from backer's audition to opening night. In the first act, the company creates audience suggested songs from imaginary musicals, then lets the audience vote on their favorite. The winner becomes a full musical production in the second act. AJ Mass and Adam Felber direct.

KA-BAAM!!!, performed every Saturday night at 10:30 PM only, pits audience-suggested superheroes against each other as they meet, fight, sing and save the world. Maybe. Stephen Barrett directs.

Finally, Hyperlinks, Freestyle's look at the internet, runs every Wednesday at 8 PM. Here, the company devises a website while the audience chooses where they want it to take them. Asaf Ronen directs. Tickets for Theatresports and Spontaneous Broadway are $15. KA-BAAM!!! and Hyperlinks are pay-what-you-can. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 642-8202. The Trilogy Theatre is located at 341 West 44th Street.
