Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will be on hand to present Oppenheim — the grandson of late acting legend Stella Adler and director of the studio in her name — with the Laurette Taylor honor for the Adler Studio's 60 years of contributions to American theatre and film. The 7 PM benefit evening at the Sage Theatre features hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and music. Proceeds benefit Theatre East's seasonal programming.

The late Laurette Taylor, acclaimed as one of the great American actresses of the twentieth century, originated the role of Amanda Wingfield in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, and earned praise for her work in Peg O' My Heart, as well as The Great John Ganton, The Ringmaster, Alias Jimmy Valentine and The Bird of Paradise.

Tickets, ranging $100-$350, are available by phoning (347) 813-4031 or by visiting TheatreEast. The Sage Theatre is located at 711 7th Avenue.
