News Orfeh to Sing National Anthem April 28 Orfeh, the velvet-voiced singing actress who currently stars in Legally Blonde at the Palace Theatre, will belt out the national anthem April 28 at Shea Stadium.

The Tony-nominated performer will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to the New York Mets vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game at Shea Stadium. Her performance is scheduled for 7:10 PM.

Orfeh is a 2007 Tony Award nominee for her performance as Paulette in Legally Blonde. She has also appeared on Broadway in Saturday Night Fever, Fascinating Rhythm and Footloose and Off-Broadway in Love, Janis. Her television credits include "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Sex & the City" and "Chappelle's Show." Orfeh was also founder and lead singer of the group Or-N-More on EMI Records.
