This new musical adaptation of the best-selling novel by Sophie Kinsella has a book, music and lyrics by Chris Burgess. Feauturing the original London cast that comprised Sabrina Aloueche, Jenny Gayner, Grant Neal, Adam Pettigrew, Liza Pulman and Steven Serlin, it has a six-piece band led by MD and arranger Colin Billing. The 23 track Limited Edition physical CD features a full synopsis, cast and creative biographies and production photographs. Set in the heat of a Spanish summer, the show revolved around two ex-lovers who, now remarried and holidaying with their families, find old passions flaring up when a Spanish holiday villa turns out to be double-booked and they are forced to spend a week together again.
The London premiere production was produced by Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment and directed by Rob McWhir.
