News Oscar, Larsen and Talbott Are Such Good Friends for New York Musical Theatre Festival Brad Oscar, Liz Larsen and Jeff Talbott will star in the world premiere of Such Good Friends for the New York Musical Theatre Festival's Next Link Project in September.

Featuring book, music and lyrics by Noel Katz, Such Good Friends, according to press notes "is an original musical comedy with serious overtones, set in the early 1950's. Three old friends: an actress, a director and a writer - work together to broadcast a weekly variety show, facing down all the difficulties of performing live in the new medium of television. Their friendships are irrevocably altered when they must testify in front of the House Un-American Activities Committee." Completing the cast for the NYMF production will be Lynne Wintersteller, Joshua Campbell, Michael Thomas Holmes, Dirk Lumbard, Shannon O'Bryan, Laura Jordan and Blake Whyte.

Marc Bruni will direct the production with a creative team that includes Wendy Seyb (choreography), Michael Horsley (musical direction), Jeff Hinchee (set design), Lisa Zinni (costume design), Jim Milkey (lighting design) and Nick Borisjuk (sound design). Kim Vasquez and Gray Lady Entertainment produce the venture for the NYMF.

Such Good Friends will run Sept. 28–Oct. 6 at the Julia Miles Theater, located at 424 West 55th Street in Manhattan. For tickets and further information visit www.nymf.org.
