Danny Gans and Chip Lightman of GansLight Entertainment are producing a 90-minute show that will highlight hits from the Osmonds' careers. The multimedia production – set on a custom-built stage with numerous video screens – will incorporate a large dance ensemble within the format of a variety show. The first performance is scheduled for Sept. 9. The Osmonds, who haven't headlined an extended Las Vegas gig in 29 years, have signed an eight-month deal at the Flamingo Resort. The duo will follow recording artist and Aida star Toni Braxton, who is currently appearing at the Flamingo Showroom.

Las Vegas is proving to be a family affair for the Osmonds, with brothers Wayne, Merrill, Jay, and Jimmy beginning their own show in September at the New Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Among the Osmonds' hits are "Paper Roses," "Make the World Go Away," "I'm Leaving It (All) Up to You," "Morning Side of the Mountain," "Puppy Love," "Soldier of Love," and "Deep Purple."

In addition to his career in music and television, Donny Osmond appeared in Broadway's short-lived Little Johnny Jones as well as in Beauty and the Beast and a tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Marie Osmond, who starred with her brother Donny in "The Donny & Marie Show," has toured in revivals of The Sound of Music and The King and I (in which she also appeared on Broadway). Marie Osmond was seen on last season's "Dancing with the Stars" and will begin a new daytime talk show in 2009.
