TV producers say we can't say why you know her (hint: it involves a $1 million prize and the Australian Outback), but Jerri Manthey does have a post-TV fame job. The Los Angeles actress will play Dilly in the world premiere comedy Lady Macbeth Gets a Divorce, running March 23-April 29 at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

Dilly is the very young and very sexy girlfriend of Duncan, a wealthy elderly man and uncle to the depressed dreamer Fred. His marriage to confident and beautiful Fiona is falling apart, and he hopes to borrow both money and Dilly in order to show her up.

Lady Macbeth is Dr. John Menkes' sixth play, his most famous being The Last Inquisitor, a Holocaust drama which won the Drama-Logue Award for Best Writing. He is also a well-respected pediatrician, whose work on mental retardation and textbook "Textbook of Child Neurology" have garnered him attention and several awards.

Manthey alternates in the role of Dilly with Amy French. Suzan Crowley and Andrea Tate alternate as Fiona and Brendan Thomas Dillon and Redmond Gleeson alternate as Duncan. Robert Sherer is Fred.

Dillon co-directs with acting teacher Manu Tupou. Reality TV fans may recognize the Senior Life Member of the Actor's Studio as Manthey's acting coach. His Broadway credits include playing Othello opposite Christopher Walken and starring in Indians with Stacy Keach and Charles Durning. Tickets are $20. The Beverly Hills Playhouse is located at 254 S. Robertson Boulevard. For reservations, call (323) 655-TKTS.
