Thomas and Elliott co-authored the play that first began as part of the 2009 New York Fringe Festival. Devil Boys began previews Nov. 3 and officially opened Nov. 13. Performances were originally scheduled through Dec. 30.

“I am extremely proud of this production," producer David J. Foster said in a previous statement. "Devil Boys represents a style of comedy that has had an immeasurable impact on popular culture, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to work within that grand tradition. If success can be measured in laughter, it’s nothing short of a smash."

Theatre-in-Limbo co-founder co-founder and Devil Boys co-author Elliott directs the production that reunites its original Fringe cast members, including Ridiculous Theatrical Company actor Everett Quinton as Florence Wexler and frequent Charles Busch player Andy Halliday as Dotty Primrose.

In addition to Quinton and Halliday, the cast features Paul Pecorino (Mattie Van Buren), Chris Dell'Armo (Lucinda Marsh), Peter Cormican (Gilbert Wiatt), Robert Berliner (Gregory Graham), Jacques Mitchell (Jack Primrose) and Jeff Riberdy (Harry Wexler).

According to producers, "Summer of 1957 is a scorcher and something strange is going on in the swamps of Lizard Lick, Florida. With rumors of missing people and giant spaceships running rampant, star NYC reporter Mattie Van Buren races down in search of her next Pulitzer, her booze-hound ex-husband, Gregory Graham in tow, and her arch-enemy, Lucinda Marsh hot on her heels to scoop her story. Flying saucers! Backstabbing bitches! Muscle hunks and men in pumps!" Devil Boys is designed by B.T. Whitehill (scenic design), Gail Baldoni (costume design), Gerard Kelly (wig & hair design), Vivien Leone (lighting design) and Drew Fornarola (original score and sound design).

For tickets, priced $65, phone (212) 239-6200 or visit Telecharge. New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street.
