The film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, starring Madonna, will not be dubbed when it is shown overseas, according to a Reuters report. It was felt that dubbing would spoil the effect of Madonna singing songs like "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina," "Rainbow High" and the number, "You Must Love Me," for her overseas fans. The Alan Parker film will be subtitled instead.
The film is scheduled to be released in the U.S. Dec. 25.
