News Passing Strange's Davis Plays Joe's Pub March 10 Eisa Davis, who is currently making her Broadway debut as Mother in Passing Strange, goes it solo at Joe's Pub March 10.

Davis, according to press notes, will bring her "unique brand of stripped down, soulful, piano-lush reveries" to the intimate cabaret located within the Public Theater. Show time is 9:30 PM.

Eisa Davis has appeared on Broadway in The Violet Hour and Off-Broadway in Passing Strange, Belize and June and Jean in Concert. Her regional theatre credits include Passing Strange, Intimate Apparel, Blues for an Alabama Sky and Valley Song. On screen Davis has been seen in "The Wire," "Law & Order," "Soul Food," "Robot Stories," "The Architect," "Confess" and "Happenstance."
