Begins Two-Play Rep Run with A Will of His Own March 29 On the heels of its two-play repertory run of The Oresteia and The Way of the World last year, the Pearl Theatre Company will have another go at it. This year's selections of French classics will begin with A Will of His Own March 29. The play will open April 9 and play with Andromache (starting April 26) at Theatre 80 in lower Manhattan through June 17.

On the heels of its two-play repertory run of The Oresteia and The Way of the World last year, the Pearl Theatre Company will have another go at it. This year's selections of French classics will begin with A Will of His Own March 29. The play will open April 9 and play with Andromache (starting April 26) at Theatre 80 in lower Manhattan through June 17.

In A Will of His Own by Jean-François Regnard and translated by Michael Feingold, a servant attempts to discredit the heirs to the wealth of a tyrannic miser by masquerading as each relative before the dying tyrant. Russell Treyz directs.

The cast includes John Wylie, Arnie Burton, Rachel Botchan, Christopher Moore, Dominic Cuskern, Celeste Ciulla, Valerie Leonard, Felice Yeh and Andrew Firda. Several of this cast will also appear in Andromache.

Andromache, which will begin performances April 26 and open May 7, will be directed by Pearl Theatre artistic director Shepard Sobel. The play follow a love triangle between five people. Orestes loves Heroine who loves Pyrrhus who loves Andromache who still loves her husband though he is dead. The play by Jean Racine was translated by Earle Edgerton.
