News Pellow to Star in Chicago at U.K.'s Alexandra Theatre Former Wet Wet Wet front man, and solo star, Marti Pellow, is to reprise his role as Billy Flynn in the Kander and Ebb musical Chicago at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre.

Pellow will play the role from Dec. 16, 2003, to January 3, 2004. Pellow has already played the part of the slick lawyer in the West End (for six months), on tour in the UK and in Japan.

Pellow will be joined on stage by Jane Fowler as Roxie Hart, Amra Faye as Velma Kelly, Martin Callaghan as Amos Hart, Debra Michaels as Mama Morton and Dee McKechnie as Mary Sunshine.

Chicago opened at the Adelphi Theatre in London in 1997, where it is still playing.
